When redeeming a Mylio Create offer after purchasing an eligible Seagate Backup Plus or Photo Drive there are a few short steps to follow.
Activate Mylio Create for New Customers
- Connect your Seagate drive to a computer and open the “Start_Here” file to take you to Seagate’s website to register your drive and claim any eligible offers.
- Once you have claimed the Mylio Create offer, you will be taken to Mylio’s website to download and install Mylio.
- Copy the unique, time-sensitive code and click the Download button. If the code expires you can keep this page open to regenerate a new one.
- Once downloaded, open the setup file to install Mylio. If you are not sure how to install Mylio, please see this guide for more assistance.

- Once installed, open the Mylio app and sign-in or use one of the sign-in options on screen to create an account

- After signing in, paste your promo code and hit “Claim”

Activate Mylio Create for Existing Mylio Users
Note: If you are a Mylio Premium subscriber and wish to switch to a Mylio Create plan, please contact Mylio Support with your proof of purchase of an eligible Seagate Drive.
- Connect your Seagate drive to a computer and open the “Start_Here” file to take you to Seagate’s website to register your drive and claim any eligible offers.
- Once you have claimed the Mylio Create offer, you will be taken to Mylio’s website to download and install Mylio.
- Copy the unique, time-sensitive code.

- If you are already signed into the Mylio application with a Free account you do not need to download anything else
- Instead, please go to account.mylio.com and sign-in.
- On the next page, click the “Claim” button to enter your activation code.
