The View Menu

The View menu allows you to change how your photos are viewed in Mylio’s main viewing area. The View menu has different options depending on what View you’re currently in. Below, you can select any View to see some of the available options for that View.

All Photos

  • Sort By – Sort your photos by different criteria. This will adjust the main view to display your photos by their date taken, name, or rating. You can also sort these categories in ascending or descending order.
  • Grid Style – Allows you to change how the photos are shown in the center panel. Fluid will dynamically shift the photos into a beautiful view. You can also display your photos as square, which will show all of the photos in a set square and show black in the area the photo does not will. Tile view will show squares that are constantly filled, often cropping your photos.
  • Annotation – Show information on your photo as you browse such as rating, name, caption, and date.
  • Play Slideshow – Play a slideshow of all media.
  • Settings – Open Mylio’s settings.
  • Help – Open Mylio’s help menu.

Calendar

  • Sort By – Sort your photos by date in ascending or descending order.
  • Play Slideshow – Play a slideshow of the decade, year, month, or day that you are currently viewing.
  • Settings – Open Mylio’s settings.
  • Help – Open Mylio’s help menu.

When in Day view, you have these additional options:

  • Sort By – Sort your photos by different criteria. This will adjust the main view to display your photos by their date taken or their name. You can also sort these categories in ascending or descending order.
  • Grid Style – Allows you to change how the photos are shown in the center panel. Fluid will dynamically shift the photos into a beautiful view.   • Help – Open Mylio’s help menu.

Map

  • Show All Photos – Show all media in the containing location.
  • Play Slideshow – Play a slideshow of the location that you are currently viewing.
  • Settings – Open Mylio’s settings.
  • Help – Open Mylio’s help menu.

When in grid view, you have these additional options:

People

  • Play Slideshow – Play a slideshow of the selected person.
  • Settings – Open Mylio’s settings.
  • Help – Open Mylio’s help menu.

When in a specific person’s album, you have these additional options:

  • Sort By – Sort your photos by different criteria. This will adjust the main view to display your photos by their date taken, name, or rating. You can also sort these categories in ascending or descending order.
  • Grid Style – Allows you to change how the photos are shown in the center panel. Fluid will dynamically shift the photos into a beautiful view.   • Zoom to Face – Zoom to the face of the tagged person in each image.
  • Play Slideshow – Play a slideshow of the person’s album that you are currently in.

Albums

  • Sort By – Sort your photos by different criteria. This will adjust the main view to display your albums or photos by their date taken or their name. When viewing a grid of photos inside an album you can additinaly sort Manually or by Rating. Manual sorting allows you to drag and drop photos in any order. Manual orders for albums are not reflected in exports but are in Slideshows.
  • Play Slideshow – Play a slideshow of the album that you are currently in or have selected.
  • Settings – Open Mylio’s settings.
  • Help – Open Mylio’s help menu.

Folders

  • Sort By – Sort your photos by different criteria. This will adjust the main view to display your photos by their date taken or their name. You can also sort these categories in ascending or descending order.
  • Tap to Sync – Shows/hides the Tap to Sync feature to apply Custom Sync Polices to folders and their contents.
  • Show Media In – Show all media in the selected or currently open folder, including sub-folders.
  • Play Slideshow – Play a slideshow of the folder that you are currently in.
  • Settings – Open Mylio’s settings.
  • Help – Open Mylio’s help menu.

When in a folder is fully opened to view media, you have these additional options:

  • Sort By – Sort your photos by different criteria. This will adjust the main view to display your photos by their date taken, name, or rating. You can also sort these categories in ascending or descending order.
